Die walzenrunde POLICAP-Schleifkappe eignet sich für feine Schleif- und Finishing-Arbeiten an schwer zugänglichen Stellen. Ihre zylindrische Form mit rundem Ende wird als Form C beziehungsweise WRC bezeichnet. Das Schleifmittel aus Aluminiumoxid und die Körnung 280 sind für die Bearbeitung von Stahl und rostfreiem Stahl geeignet.

Anwendung

Die Schleifkappe wird auf den passenden Schleifkappenträger gesetzt und während des Betriebs durch Zentrifugalkraft gehalten. Für die Größe 10 × 15 mm ist eine optimale Drehzahl von etwa 20.000 min⁻¹ angegeben. Die zulässige Höchstdrehzahl und die Sicherheitshinweise des verwendeten Trägers sind zu beachten.
